My ethic 🦸‍♂️

My journey 🗺️

In 2015, I began my creative journey with a National Diploma in Graphic Design, laying the groundwork for my career. By 2018, I had achieved a BA Hons in Graphic Communication, ready to explore the broader world of design. That same year, at Dabbl, I was introduced to Product, UX, and UI design by my first mentor, Adrian Forster—a turning point that reshaped my perspective. Frustrated by the subjectivity of graphic design, I was drawn to the objectivity of UX and Product Design, where decisions are driven by data, user needs, and business goals. Over the past six years, this passion has propelled me to grow into my role as a Senior User Experience Designer.

How I want to grow 🌱

Having spent the past three years at Elastic Path building solid experience in the tech sector, my focus is to continue growing within Product Design and UX in the SaaS space. I’m fully committed to these disciplines and excited to deepen my expertise further. Right now, my priority is to learn from experienced leaders who are deeply passionate about design and have well-thought-out strategies. I’m eager to absorb as much knowledge as possible, honing my skills and broadening my perspective to become the best designer I can be.

My USP 💎

I bring an honest, no-nonsense approach to design, combining rational decision-making with a personable, down-to-earth attitude. I’m all about fostering collaboration, keeping things clear and practical, and having a laugh along the way.

Beyond the screen 🏞️

I live in the beautiful city of Edinburgh, where I spend my free time playing squash, hiking, and exploring the stunning landscapes of Scotland—embracing it fully as an Englishman. When I’m not out and about, you’ll find me glued to a good nature documentary.

Formal education 🎓

Design is about learning through failure—‘fail fast, fail early.’ For me, it’s not a straight path but a messy, iterative process where mistakes lead to breakthroughs and ever-evolving outcomes.

When asked, ‘What’s your design process?’, I say: there isn’t one. No problem is the same, and no solution should be either. Every challenge deserves a tailored approach, driven by collaboration and fresh perspectives.
